🌸 “Colours Dancing” Fancy Auntie Earrings
The mountains wear their springtime haze, wrapped in soft veils of blue and teal where sunlight settles upon their shoulders… The forest breathes a little deeper each day, and the long northern sun spills its blessing across the landscape, warming the earth back into bloom and recognizing the familiar dancing colours across the vast northern landscape.

These earrings were born from those moments.
Created on teal 100% silk velvet and backed with home-tanned hide, each blossom is tufted with caribou hair, embroidered details, gemstone centres, while the flowing cones are made from long caribou neck hair that sways and dances with every movement.
The velvet reminds me of distant mountains touched by morning light, evening bliss & the shifting blue, green reflections that appear between sky and earth, where colour seems to float like a dream.
And the flowers…
The flowers feel like laughter returning to the land, where love is being blossomed with every sunlit day and rainfall evenings dancing among the thoughtless clouds.
Like crocus buds pushing through the moss. Like berry blossoms opening to the sun. Like the flirtation between spring and summer, dressed in shades of rose, lavender, plum, and berry wine. Their colours gather together in joyful conversation, dancing in celebration of warmth, renewal, and life returning once again, while celebrated among all vibrant life. 
This season always reminds me that nothing truly sleeps forever.
The rivers begin to sing.
The birds return home.
