✨ Honouring the Return of the Light ✨
As we welcomed the Winter Solstice, I am so incredibly proud to share these latest creations. These earrings are a tribute to the land, the animals that sustain us, and the quiet beauty of the coldest season.
This pair is a labor of love, blending traditional techniques with the shimmering colours of the North:
* Caribou Hair Tufting: The centrepieces feature intricate tufting—a patient, delicate art form that brings texture and life to the design. I worked on these for almost half a year! There is 5 - 8 tufting per petal!
* The Palette of Frost: I chose teals and light blues to represent the way ice crystals catch the dim winter sun, flickering like jewels against the snow.
* Earth & Spirit: Grounded on soft caribou skin and framed by ethically sourced, plush fox fur, these pieces are designed to keep the spirit warm during the longest nights of the year.
* Gem Stones: Blue Topaz, Yellow Agate, Blue Amazonite, and Red Wine Garnet
