Love lives in many forms.
In hands working together.
In water rinsing through caribou hair.
In colour slowly taking shape.
Caribou hair tufting is often imagined as solitary work, yet for me it is a shared rhythm. My husband, Caribou Curtis, stands beside me—helping rinse the hair, guiding the colouring, and moving with me through the quiet labour that happens long before a piece is complete. It is a love language I did not know how to name until I lived it: creating together while tending to our home, our days, and our beautiful children.
This Valentine’s Day is a gentle reminder that love is teamwork. It is built in patience, in repetition, in choosing one another through both art and everyday life. These pieces were made in that spirit—shaped by commitment, care, and devotion.
They are offerings of love.
For partners.
For community.
For yourself.
Gifts for those who honour caribou hair tufting, caribou antlers, and the tools that carry creation forward—so you too may sit with the process, and make something meaningful, with love at its centre. 💗
